Installation

Visit Chrome Web Store
Go to the okraPDF Extension in the Chrome Web Store

Add to Chrome
Click “Add to Chrome” and confirm the permissions

Pin the Extension
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome’s toolbar and pin okraPDF for easy access

Sign In
Click the extension icon and sign in with your okraPDF account
How to Use
Capture a PDF
When viewing a PDF in Chrome:- Click the okraPDF extension icon
- Click “Capture PDF”
- The document is sent to your okraPDF library
From Any Webpage
See a PDF link on a page? Right-click and select “Send to okraPDF” from the context menu.Features

Supported Sources
The extension works with PDFs from:Some sites block extension access. If capture fails, download the PDF manually and upload to okraPDF.

- Open in okraPDF — Click any captured document to open in the web app
- Continue browsing — Processing happens in the background

- Ensure you’re signed in (click extension icon to check)
- Try refreshing the page
- Check if the site blocks extensions (some enterprise sites do)

The page may be rendering a PDF in a custom viewer. Try:
- Right-click the PDF and “Open in new tab”
- Download and upload manually

Large PDFs (50+ MB) may take longer. Check your okraPDF library—the document may still be processing.
